GALLUP — It’s like a scene out a movie. A lone cowboy journeys across the desert on his horse, fending for himself against the elements and trying to survive in treacherous conditions. He finds food where he can, makes trades for essential supplies and sleeps under the stars, all the while with no map or idea of where he’s going. All he knows is that he has to keep going.
